What the experts say:

Silver Medal,

Decanter World Wine Awards 2022

“Lovely perfumed nose displaying fragrant scents of plum, cassis, elegant spices and smoky tones with wood nuances. Firm, concentrated and long ".

91 pts, Neal Martin, February 2022

“The 2019 George 7 offers earthy black fruit on the nose, well-defined but requiring time to open. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, lovely, pure, fleshy red and black fruit and seamlessly integrated oak on the finish. An excellent Fronsac in the making." Drinking window 2024-2038.”

92 pts, Jane Anson, February 2023

“A delicious wine in the 2020 vintage, juicy and ripe strawberry and raspberry fruit, immediately appealing with an edge of smoke and a kick of freshness, great Fronsac typicality. Owner Sally Evans is turning this 3ha estate into a name to follow after just a few vintages."
