“Lovely perfumed nose displaying fragrant scents of plum, cassis, elegant spices and smoky tones with wood nuances. Firm, concentrated and long »

“The 2019 George 7 offers earthy black fruit on the nose, well-defined but requiring time to open. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, lovely, pure, fleshy red and black fruit and seamlessly integrated oak on the finish. An excellent Fronsac in the making." Drinking window 2024-2038.”

“Bright zippy, great freshness to the fruit. A plush 100% Merlot, with layers of chocolate and damson that build up over the palate. Another good Fronsac in the 2019 vintage, from a new winery now in its 3rd vintage. 30% new oak.”
90 pts, Jeb Dunnock, June 2020
“Lots of red plums, licorice, baking spices and hints of chocolate emerge from the 2019 Château George 7, loaded with fruit, this beauty has sweet tannins and a soft, charming style that’s going to drink nicely on release.”
